Supreme Ruler 2020 - Brief Campaign (Sandbox) Descriptions

There are four Single Player Campaigns that a player may choose from. These are essentially sandboxes where you can modify victory conditions, game time limits, difficulty levels, etc. The open ended nature of these campaigns can give you literally weeks of play time. Enjoy!

World 2020
(184 Playable Regions) This is based on the current political alignment of our world today. China continues to experience phenomenal growth and subsequently their demand for raw materials continues to increase; demand for oil worldwide has eased as prices increased, but some other raw goods have become more scarce. Relationships are essentially based on current diplomatic leanings, so if you play as Israel you can expect tensions with your neighbors, though in some areas of the world relationships have become more strained.

World 2020 In Crisis
(184 Playable Regions) Also based on the political alignments of our world today, but with a modifier added to amplify relations between regions and create more activity across the map. Alliances and War Declarations become much more common as regions form up into competing blocks of influence.

Shattered World
(249 Playable Regions) This is the original storyline for Supreme Ruler 2020. In this sandbox, you will find many of the larger regions in the world have allowed political differences to fracture their unions. The United States experiences a crisis wherein the individual states no longer recognize the moral right of the central government to lead. Countries that have dissolved include the Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom and United States.

Melting Point
(249 Playable Regions) This is based on the Shattered World campaign but has had the relations amplified between the regions, again creating more activity including alliance blocks and regional wars. These situations often allow players many opportunities to take advantage of neighbors that have been weakened by an aggressive enemy.
