SR2020 "Production Facilities" are the commercial factories, mines, farms, power plants, etc. that produce resource Commodities such as Timber, Fresh Water, Petroleum, etc, and Goods such as Industrial Goods, Military Goods, etc.
Production facilities are distinct from Military facilities such as Bases and Fabrication Plants in that they are privately owned and their output is sold to the public for profit or is used as a component for the production of other products.
All Production Facilities employ civilian workers. The output of Production Facilities is taxed and their productivity is subject to the morale and loyality of its workers. This productivity is also proportional to the level of Supply that the facility receives.
